Blood Meridian; or, The Evening Redness in the West by Cormac McCarthy

2.0

The middle of the book was long-ish and meandering in a way that I did not enjoy, and while I can appreciate the concept, I'm still meh about the execution. I'm not at all convinced by McCarthy's opinions about 'human nature', and I think allegory works best in smaller doses. That said, I found the ending [the epilogue] quite powerful, imagery-wise.
