This book surprised me by how enjoyable it turned out to be. I picked it as a background audio to listen to while doing other things, not at all like my usual picks (aka fantasy). I initially thought I'd sussed out how the plot would turn out. While I did guess some of the ending, the journey to get there was far more interesting than I'd thought it would be. It turned out to be a lovely, charming little story with a great narrator too.
