Pride by Lana Pecherczyk
5.0
I was expecting this book so much since I knew that Parker’s mate was a Sinner, first because he needs a strong mate who will not be afraid of his personality and 2nd because they’re badass.
Parker is the most prideful of all, he likes to be in charge, to be the one to plan and he’s convinced that he didn’t do it cannot only go bad. But pride is the most sinful sin and the most dangerous, his pride led him to lose his arm and if he’s not careful he could lose even more. His family has bearred with his behaviour for all long, but now it’s time to bring some change.
Alice is a Sinner, she was raised by the Sisterhood and after two years as Parker’s assistant, she tried to propose a truce with the Lazarus family to fight alongside each other against the Syndicate, because the Sisterhood knows that they are up to no good. She knows that she will have to be the last one standing if the Lazarus turn berserkers but it doesn’t prevent her to fall hard for Parker.
As they each fight their nightmares, their deepest challenges, they will find each other and start their quest to find the lost Lazarus.
Such an amazing book, you can feel the end coming, the tension from the plot - I loved it and was so glad to meet the Sinners. I cannot wait to see them all again
