Another Lily Gold book, another favorite.
By now I’ve read all of her books and I love all of them without fail. I guess this one might be the least favorite of them but you know it’s still definitely a fav.
As always I adore how the author writes her characters and their relationships. Every book is so unique and the way the characters get to know each other, find together and fall in love always has my whole heart.
I love the pace how things happen, plot-wise as well as relationship-wise in the sexual sense. Everything’s always full of love, consent and reassurance. It just makes me feel really comfortable reading this knowing the character is one hundred percent comfortable with the others.
One minor thing I criticize is the „reveal“ near the ending. It’s nothing big but it’s something the characters tried to figure out on the side. For me it was clear as day since the first incident happened which person was behind it. But as this wasn’t the main point of the story it didn’t bother me as much.
I’d say Lily Gold‘s books are the best reverse harem stand-alones I’ve read and I’m beyond excited for every new book she’s going to publish (hopefully immediately with the new beautiful discreet covers).
