THE PLOT

Paige and Heather are cousin-emies (cousin + enemy). Heather wants to be Paige and even went as far as snatching her mans. Paige, the "cool, easy, breezy girl-next-door" type is trying to live her life and dabbles in a lil online dating. But, watch out, because there's a killer on the loose and his hunting ground is dating apps.

MY OPINNI

............. bro. I've read other Joy Fielding novels, and either she slapped this bad boy together after 6 martinis OR her ghost writer was a 10-year-old. The writing quality was abysmal. Think: "The sky is blue." "I put on my sweater. Then I went outside." (I dead ass think the sweater quote was an actual excerpt from the book). It was appalling how poor the writing was.

The intro gave the book potential, but the rest of the book was so difficult to read. I get distracted by bad writing, so unless the storyline is above and beyond, I'm going to be thinking about the writing quality the entire read.

Also, the only juicy stuff happened at the end. The ending should've been midway through the book; there was way more to explore and explain. I wouldn't even classify this a thriller. You know who the bad guy is, and the rest of the book is Paige and Heather facing off with each other over some bum ass crusty dude.

Le sigh. Do not read this one.

PROS AND CONS
Pros: Because I'm feeling nice... The intro.
Cons: Everything else. Especially the writing quality.
