This was my introduction into dark romance so I certainly dove in head first. Firstly, Roxy is a badass. With a serious case of Stockholm Syndrome and a laundry list of unresolved trauma and abandonment issues but a badass, nonetheless. Some of the Vipers were oddly quite likable. Kenzo was my favorite one. Ryder was the daddy of the group, Garrett was the sweetheart in dyer need of therapy and meds and Deisel was the most horrific character I’ve ever come across. I enjoyed the plot for the first 350 pages or so and then it just seemed to get very repetitive and drag on. Definitely not a book I would recommend to just anyone. But if you’re into body horror and sexual violence type smut then this book is a gold mine.
