Famous in a Small Town by Kylie Scott

2.0

Kylie Scott has mostly been an auto buy for me, but this book did not live up to previous ones. It felt rushed, disjointed and in need of a better copy and continuity edit. The whole relationship was lacking, especially considering the baggage both leads were dealing with. And Ani’s fears about being in a house overnight with other people just magically disappear after one night with Garrett? A whole crew of people show up the next day and it’s totally cool?! The cast of characters was huge for such a short book, and major issues with some of them were just random sidelines (Chad?!)

The timeline was very rushed on the whole story and the character growth and development was completely off page.
