I absolutely love the themes in this book. I loved the critique on marriage, and I don't think we have enough books critiquing that institution in our society. As a woman in my mid 30s who is unmarried… Can confirm that there is a lot of pressure. The problem with this book however, is that it didn't know what it was trying to be. It fell flat as a thriller, as a comedy, as a serious commentary. It tried to be all three in a very short book. It felt like you were being bounced around like a ping pong ball! Not the most pleasent read
