Fairly cute, atmospheric, cozy, light and uplifting. Like sitting in the garden at a cottage, reading and napping in the late summer sun. Not my typical genre, I think I much prefer contemporary…It would make a good palette cleanser after some heavier books. Mild spoiler:
everything works out happily, easily, best case scenario. The book leans very much in finding the good in everyone and that everyone will take the opportunity to be kind. So if that’s what you’re looking for, this will do it. For my preference, it feels a bit to saccharine. But ymmv
