The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson

dark mysterious tense fast-paced

3.0

A lot of this book is sadly spoiled by the fact that we know the ending through popular culture osmosis, but if you can pretend you don't know the ending it can be a fun mystery. A quick read. The ideals of the characters are also interesting in the last chapter, where "freedom" and "passionate" are apparently completely interchangeable with "evil" somehow.
