I absolutely loved this one, y’all. I was V nervous going in because I heard that folks were disappointed and it was basically The Love Hypothesis all over again. For me, that just wasn’t the case.
Are there similarities between the two? Absolutely. This book though? This is The Love Hypothesis but GROWN. Like the writing, banter, MCs, the SPICE. All of it was significantly better for me. The premise for our MCs was different. It just felt so smart.
Loved the Marie Curie history woven in. There were so many LOL moments for me, and a lot that hit home too. Absolutely LOVED Levi and our FMC, Bee (though girlfriend, are you dumb?! like he’s obviously obsessed with you). Really liked our side characters too - Rocío in particular (I got major April Ludgate and Zooey Deschanel’s character from Failure to Launch vibes).
Long story long, this had had me cheesin’ and in my feels.
