Told from the point of view of three mothers, a bunch of pre-schoolers in the same class suddenly start craving blood, biting their class mates and their parents.
When their teacher is found murdered, and some child's footprints are found on blood, the authorities get very interested in what is happened with the children.
What was interesting is how the families dealt with this craving for blood. The kids seem to want to feed from their mothers especially, and before long, the mothers are letting them.
Cutting Teeth was a really thought provoking read, that was a cross between a thriller, a murder mystery and a domestic drama. It did make me question what I would do in this situation. Mothers will do everything in their power to do the best for their children but giving them blood? Not sure I would be able to!
There are lots of twists and turns that made for a surprising read. I really enjoyed this unique book!
