At first this confused me, as the plot didn't seem to match with information we had from the first novel of the Dark-Hunterverse. But then I kept reading and it all made sense.
This is the first full-length novel actually featuring a Dark Hunter ([b: Dragonswan|84134|Dragonswan (Were-Hunter #0.5)|Sherrilyn Kenyon|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1390061600s/84134.jpg|81225] has one but it is a short), and Kyrian is my favourite so far! I'm trash for this series, you guys. It is not some feat of literary genius, but damn. I can't help but love it because usually romance novels have really ZERO substance and are mostly good for the juicy bits, but this series has really cool back stories.
