The 2nd novel in the first Jet trilogy takes place immediately after the first. Jet managed to steal back her daughter, but she was immediately kidnapped by shady elements in the CIA. In exchange for her daughter's return, the CIA wants Jet to fly to the Phillipines and assassinate the "White Devil" where their own hit squads have failed. They also want her to retrieve the 50 million dollars that he stole, and agree to pay her a million dollars if she succeeds.
When Jet finally makes contact, it turns out that things aren't at all what they seemed. Can she untangle things and figure out a way to get Hannah back?
The CIA/worldwide drug operation plot is a bit far-fetched (I think...) but the smaller plot elements work well.
