This was honestly the best book I’ve read this year. 
I don’t think you need to enjoy video games to love this book. The characters were so beautifully written and the development of them was amazing. 
Spoiler I was utterly heartbroken about Marx dying and didn’t expect it happening until the moment the shooter scene was written. The way the characters grief was written too also had me crying.
