In the Clear Moonlit Dusk doesn’t really get better for me. The back and forth between the MCs continues in this fifth volume. They get a bit closer together this time and there are more emotions between them. I don’t know, they feel a bit more mature. For a change of pace, we get a travel, and of course an aquarium visit.

Additionally, some random character traits are introduced to both of them so that they don’t feel too flat anymore. I’ve said it before, but I find Kohaku just so unattractive. His jealously made me uncomfortable and him even more unattractive. The second lead is so much more likable but he also is just too beautiful that he seems unrealistic.
