Danger Down The Nile by James Patterson

2.0

Treasure Hunters series book two, and it just seems that Patterson can't write children. They just don't feel like real kids, they are either too sentimental and good too be true, or too intelligent for anyone to believe, or just too argy and belligerent without motivation.
This book being mostly about children has really all of the above issues plus a plot that motors along at a quick clip but ultimately says nothing. There is again great ideas behind the story, but the execution is flawed, almost fatally.
