I read this series out of order, so I saw glimpses of Grace and Nate in Diana’s book but I loved their story! Regency and Victorian romances are my comfort reads and what I used to read almost exclusively. This one did not disappoint in the rules of reputations and a horrible antagonist. Grace was in a terrible position and she kept catching Nate off-guard. I didn’t know how they could possibly get their happily ever after with her uncle’s schemes but I loved how it worked out. Esther does a great job of swoony kisses and creating that tension that I love in these books. It was also great to see Lord Bryant at his worst but know that he gets redeemed in a later book.
Content Notes: Kisses, attempted sexual assault, sexual harassment
