AHHHHHHHHHH

I've hoped for Lysander and Akiem to meet again and talk. I was also curious about Eroan and how he would behave toward Akiem after all what has happened during the war.

But! I think I've never hated Eroan as much as in the first half of the book. Like, JESUS, shut the fuck up! He got some serious protag issues. Not everything is about you, Eroan Ilanea. I was glad though, that Lysander told him that too.
I was also mad at Lysander and how he treated Akiem. He, too, had some God-complex with

Yes, Lysander. You're a good boy and my heart ached for you in the last two books of Silk & Steel, but bro, u need therapy with that darkness inside you.

My heart hurt so much, when they finally talked. AND AUTHOR, Y U NO TELL WHAT LYSANDER SAID TO MAKE AKIEM LAUGH???? I wanna know why my poor lil baby laughed. :c

Lysander experiencing a culture shock made my day though:

"Scales?" the elf asked.
"What?"
"Your scales?"

"How big are you as dragon?"
"That's kinda personal.2

"I'm big." Lysander grinned, relaxing a little, now he had some of the door-elves on his side.
"The biggest"

Sassy Zane again
"Then why is his scent all over you?"
"Probably because we fucked before I came here"

Akiem purring, after Zane stood up for him is just *chef's kiss*. Love it. Also thanks, dear author, for the image of Akiem wanting to shift into a dragon and just curl up in a ball at the slightest inconvenience. My poor heart <3
