I’ve been so excited for Dagon and Dimitri's story ever since the first book, and while I was pretty certain that it would break my heart, nothing could have prepared me for this roller coaster of emotions and suspense.

My curiosity about Dimitri and Dagon was definitely peaked from the previous books, and I loved to finally get some of their backstory. They have always had this delicious tension tinged with sadness around them, and it broke my heart to see them try to make things work, to want each other over and over again, only for it to never be enough. Seeing them finding their missing piece after centuries of struggles and heartbreak was everything.

And Lucky… he just completely caught my heart, he definitely deserved all the love and affection that Dimitri and Dagon had to offer. It was so adorable to see Dimitri and Dagon work together to try and woo Lucky, and I loved their poly dynamic once they figured things out. Be prepared for some seriously steamy and delicious scenes!

It was a story that was easy to get immersed in, and I didn’t want to put it down once I started reading. The conflict and uproar that had been building throughout the series escalated, and seeing it play out was a real nail-biter. The suspense was thick and things certainly looked hopeless and dire at times. And seriously Lark, I still can’t believe what you did. WHAT KIND OF PERSON EVEN THINKS OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT? (Sorry, you’ll understand once you get there).

All in all, Luck of the Devil was a fantastic conclusion of The Reckless Damned series - seeing these men fall in love and find their fated mates was worth all the tears and heartbreak. Definitely a series to look into if you haven’t yet!
