Daredevil: Born Again by

4.0

I haven't read a lot of daredevil stories. Most of my information about his character come from the awesome TV series, and some of his most recent mini series. Born Again, is one of his most rated story arcs on Goodreads so I decided to give it a read. And what a read this has been.

Daredevil is driven almost insane by Kingpin's vengeance. When the powerful supervillain gets ahold of his secret identity, he slams Matt to the ground by rendering him homeless, careerless and moneyless.

Kingpin is shown to be relentless and cunning, however, in the end, his blind thirst for vengeance against Daredevil is the beginning of his demise.

There seem to be some gaps in the story, for example it's quite unbelievable that Karen would become a mere addict who would sell her lover's secret for a simple fix, or the romance between Foggy and Glori right after her breakup with Matt and some other details, too. Nonetheless, I found the plot to be quite satisfying.

Finally, the art-style despite being old-school, is very well drawn and accompanies the action very fittingly.
