I thought the writing style here was really good. I enjoyed the Gullah folklore  and thought the boo hag in the story was pretty scary. There were a few things that seemed to take place kind of out of pocket in my opinion, and a few plot holes that never really got cleared up but all in all I thought it was a pretty good story.
