I found myself pretty bored halfway through and skimmed the rest of it until the end. It got kind of tiring reading about Birdy lying to people she cared about over and over again and her anxiety about it instead of just coming clean. She is pretty unlikeable in the beginning, basically a self centered loser with no ambition in life; it was nice to see her work on herself and become a better person. The biggest thing I probably liked about the book was the humor, I enjoyed the fact that Birdy was the life of the party, and fairly witty. I also enjoyed the descriptions of Scotland. Overall it's a decent book, just a tad longer than I probably would have liked.
