I thought this book was kind of just....ok? There were some genuinely laugh-out-loud funny moments, and it's nice to read a book where people being gay is just a matter of fact and not whole thing. That said, I felt like the ending of the book was extremely abrupt, leaving a lot left unresolved but with the tone that everything was actually fine now. Gilda's overwhelming anxiety/depression control the narrative to the point where her anxiety was giving me anxiety. I still think it's worth reading but I just don't think it's as good as everyone told me it was!
Graphic: Suicidal thoughts, Mental illness, Medical content, Panic attacks/disorders, Vomit, Grief, and Animal death
Moderate: Self harm, Murder, Suicide, and Religious bigotry
