I was leaning towards a 3.5, but then the last 30% happened and it dropped firmly into the 3 star territory. Not to say it was bad, but it was within expectations rather than a surprise.
It's a nice dark, why-choose romance that takes itself seriously, with pretty good writing and while the end felt a bit rushed, it was a rather good experience over all.
Characters aren't phenomenally lovely, nor a lot to write home about, but they're alright to keep up with and the plot isn't overly taxing. Good stuff.
