This was so charming and delightful. After reading high fantasy (which is not my number 1 choice genre) it was very comforting to brave the temperatures with this almost old-fashioned whodunnit. Absolutely would recommend as the main characters (plentiful but well-rounded enough for a story like this) are deliciously quirky but very human at the same time. It is a pleasantly funny mystery, though it doesn't shy away from darker themes and has occasional tender, teary moments.
