The Unfiltered Enneagram: A Witty and Wise Guide to Self-Compassion by Elizabeth Orr
5.0
I've read so much Enneagram material, but THE UNFILTERED ENNEAGRAM stands in a league of its own. If you've enjoyed the memes the author creates on her Instagram, @rudeassenneagram, expect the same level of detail with the bookâwith a more refined presentation. There are many mindset-shifting, thoroughly researched, and brutally honest takes that separated it from other Enneagram books I've read.
That's not to say that it's 100% original thoughts (and it shouldn't be for this long-researched tool, if you ask me). If you've also read a lot about Enneagram types and tendencies, you'll find some familiar insights in THE UNFILTERED ENNEAGRAM. Orr takes what we know about each type and offers her unique and delightful wisdom. I listened to it on audio, partially while on laughing gas during a dental procedure, and it was a great format to take in Orr's snark and knowledge. I recommend this sassy and fun approach to the Enneagram to anyone who's into it.
