Olivia is a hot mess who has just moved back home after accidentally burning down her apartment building when a wrong number text turns into a flirtation…with her brother’s best friend and roommate.

I thought this one was SO cute and fun and funny—it definitely leaned into the “com” half of rom-com in a way I really appreciated. I also adored Colin by the second half…his swoon worthy lines and adorable small (and big) gestures totally won me over.

There are also two bonus epilogues online and they have my ENTIRE heart. Long story short, a super solid rom-com I totally recommend! This was my first Lynn Painter book but it absolutely will not be my last.

Recommended to anyone, but especially if you like: brother’s best friend; enemies-ish to lovers; You’ve Got Mail vibes

CW: infidelity (not on page and not by/with the MCs)
