Reviewed this for San Francisco Book Review. It is a "romance" book rather than just popular fiction, which means there were a few fairly detailed sex scenes fairly close to the end. Aside from those intrusions, it was a fun little guilty pleasure of escapist reading. Got me imagining being whisked off to a lovely foreign land as the duchess of my own estate... not too bad.
