I really enjoyed this book and have so much respect and admiration for Hadley. Her care for patients in their final days is truly admirable and I feel honored to have gotten to know them through her stories. I also appreciated how she wove her own life story into the novel. As an atheist, I was concerned that there would be a strong religious message, but she handled the topic with inclusivity. She does not shy away from discussing her religious beliefs, but also left room for others beliefs as well. I highly recommend this book, but be prepared for tears!
