I loved most of this book. The story was rich and the references were spectacular. It made me appreciate 80's media in a whole new way. Wade, Aech, and Art3mis were spectacular characters that I genuinely cared for. The only thing that threw me off was the pacing at certain points. It felt as if the author was stalling for pages before getting into the action and once the action arose, it would end two pages later. Overall, this book will stick with me for a long time, it's time to brush up on my 80's culture knowledge/trivia so that I can thoroughly enjoy the movie.
