First of all, I want to thank @laramartinauthor for reaching out to me with an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review.
I just adored this book. It is such a sweet and fun story (swipe for the complete synopsis). Nina is an incredibly strong FMC and we love a strong-willed female main character. I loved Nina’s dysfunctional family and especially her relationship with her sister-in-law. The female relationships in this book are multifaceted and I want to congratulate the author for portraying them so wonderfully- Nina’s relationship with her mother , her SIL and her high school best friend.
And Lucas. My heart still skips a beat just thinking about him. He is just perfect. It is a slow burn. This book would have been a perfect 5 star read for me but I wanted more of Nina and Lucas.
And most importantly, this book is so much fun to read. There were parts which were completely hilarious and I was literally laughing out loud. Lara Martin is an absolutely amazing writer and I loved everything part of this story.
You should definitely read this book if you like
