I loved that this focused on the victims of violent, how their lives get turned upside down and how they'll never be the same. The highlighting of how self shame and people pleasing go hand in hand was so well done.  I found the jumping between characters and timelines occurred too often for me and became a little confusing, I also found the characters similar in many ways so they didn't feel like completely different or real people.
