The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
dark
slow-paced
3.5
authors named Jeannette 🤝 writing memoirs about their abusive families
Man, Jeannette Walls has lived a crazy life. The prose itself was engaging, and I was very interested in learning what happened to her. That said, I felt that the book offered no thematic or emotional reflection on what she went through. It was merely an account of what happened to her.
