Did not finish book. Stopped at 38%.

I’m all for a bit of  fantasy smut but does it have to be written in such a juvenile style? And do we have to be using so many modern slang terms in a medieval fantasy setting?

Oh, and I thought we’d agreed to leave “I released a breath I didn’t know I was holding” back in 2012 YA. 

Add insta-love and mating bonds into the mix, and this was very much Not Written For Me™️
