Tomb Sweeping by Alexandra Chang

4.0

This was an absolutely mesmerizing collection of short stories, largely centered around women of Chinese descent, but with an additional focus on our modern world and the intricacies of it.

I absolutely loved Chang’s writing and was invested in each story from the first sentences. She had a gift for spinning a story that holds interest.  The most unique for me was Lin’s story,  told in reverse.

This was a collection I might have been able to read quickly, but I took my time and guested each story separately.  I’m glad I did.
