An expertly crafted novel about a young woman's quest for artistic and sexual agency in a world that is attempting to penetrate her and her mind. Whether she gains that agency... well just read. That's at least my interpretation of Bunny.
This is one of those novels where everyone who reads it may have an interpretation that is similar in some regards, but wildly different when it gets to thematic details. Regardless of one's thematic or genre preferences, it's worth the read just for the intricate writing and lush atmosphere. I only wish this book had been a little sapphic...
