Probably my favorite book of the series. I love the push and pull between Malone and Aurora. Aurora's delicate balance between her new feelings and the hatred she's been harboring for Malone since childhood is especially fun to watch develop.

As with the other books in this series it is very spicy and delves into BDSM territory, so be aware that that's what you are getting into. A large part of this book deals with Aurora's feelings towards Malone because of what happened between Malone and her mother:

Malone basically beat her mother to death. This left her mother in a coma for years - ending with Aurora having to pull her mother off life support.

. While Aurora isn't a captive in this book she does feel a sense of confinement stuck in Malone's apartment.
