The Precipice: Neoliberalism, the Pandemic, and the Urgent Need for Radical Change by C. J. Polychroniou, Noam Chomsky

4.0

My only problem with the book was the format. Given that each "chapter" is just different essays spanning the Trump years, some information is repetitive. However, given the information presented, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. The severity of our current political (and environmental) situation should not be glossed over, but carefully examined. Chomsky does just that in great detail. Another problem with this format is the lack of footnotes, but Chomsky makes up for that quite well with expansive quotations from experts, making the usual challenge of tracking down sources easy.
