Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Cliffhanger!!!! *bangs head against desk* Nooooo! I hate cliffhangers!

Okay, so this story is really good, with a barely-there, slow-burning romance that gets mercilessly squashed by the end of the book. But there is still hope, isn't it? I know that Emily has a lot on her plate and that her job is fundamental to keep her son healthy and to be able to pay her debts. And that, even when Olivia's heart is in the right place, she can be hard to deal with for someone whit Emily's issues. But I think that the conflict grew out of proportion here and it shouldn't have led to a break-up.

And Olivia broke my heart here, truly broke it.
“You…promised that you would try,” Olivia’s whisper was almost inaudible over the background noise of the loud terminal. “You told me that it would be okay with you, that it would always be okay with you. That we’d find a way to communicate.”

They could work so wonderfully... And Henry adores Olivia. And Olivia adores Henry!

Oh, well, I'll have to get the next book *laughs*
