i’ve seen the movie and the (similar) knives out movies, so i decided to listen to the book instead of reading bc i know christie has like a thousand books and that makes theyre very complicated stories. i tried really hard to figure out how this one would end and who would be at fault but did NOT see the truth coming at any time
except for the kimono in poirots bag. called that immediately
. (i saw the movie yearsssssss ago so i knew i liked the story but forgot the plot). anyway, the narrator is fun to listen to and his accents are great. the story was complicated, but not like “went right over my head” complicated.
