The Duke and Miss Christmas by Amelia Grey

5.0

In a word? Adorable!

These characters instantly pulled me into this gorgeous tale of England and left me breathless! I love an odd meeting and these two meet in such an incredulous way that I could not help but laugh.

The duke actually has a past that many people know about. He is known to be a rogue but Gwen does not know him. She suspects that he is trying to take her sister and pegs him as even worse than a rogue and smacks him upside the head! You know the reader, and the characters, are in for it when they meet like this.

True to their meeting, they are both incredulous but so adoring. Gwen looks after her sisters and puts their happiness before her own, while Crispin loves his family.

The way the plot continued, I just wanted more. Sadly there is a bit of an excerpt to the next book, so this ends at 87% on the kindle. I was devastated to know I was at the end of their story! But excited that this is just a novella in a series.

I will definitely read more in this series. It's delightful!
