Conspiracies by F. Paul Wilson

3.0

Up until the last third of the novel everything was going swimmingly: well drawn quixotic characters, an intriguing mystery slowly unravelled, along with hints of the broader Repairman Jack saga, but then it all gets sucked down the maw of a voracious expository monster from the info dump of hell.

Pity. Surely there was some other means of laying the groundwork for the Adversary series without having to resort to: "So, Mr. Bond, would you like to know my dastardly plan to take over the world?"
