Just to add a bit of balance to the reviews - if you're not a Lindsay Kelk stan this book is ok. Neither the best or the worst of the genre. I only read it because I Heart Christmas is one of my favourite trashy Christmas reads so I felt kind of obliged to read a sequel - I'm quite fond of Angela and the blurb did mention Christmas lights!
It was quite funny, and sweet, and I only rolled my eyes a couple of times so on the whole not bad! (Spin class? At that time, when you don't usually exercise? Only in chick lit. 🙄 And I'm sorry, but anyone who eats THREE DAY old takeaway when they have Hamilton tickets does not deserve to see Hamilton!)
