The Three Mothers: How the Mothers of Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, and James Baldwin Shaped a Nation, by Anna Malaika Tubbs

challenging hopeful informative medium-paced

4.5

This book looked at each family and each mother through many lenses and layers. I appreciate all the things this book made me think about, even through the discomfort of sadness at how our country has treated Black people (and specifically Black women) throughout its history.
