My favorite of the Orc Sworn series, hands-down no question. Rathgarr schemed (and licked) his way to the top of the list of my favorite MMC orcs, and Geva hands-down capably plotted her way into my favorite FMC of the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
FMC: Geva Okoro (governess). 30 year old self-sufficient woman, daughter of deceased diplomats, with no living family on “this side” of the sea, and employed as a governess by a horrible couple. No simpering virgin here (yaaaassss!) & puts the hero in heroine.
MMC: Rathgarr of Clan Ash-Kai (orc). Scheming Ash-Kai Rathgarr has a plan; return to Orc Mountain after 16 years away, reunite with his brother Kesst (
