The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter

4.0

Overall I would recommend. The story and setting are very unique; not your typical fantasy. The story was exciting and got better towards the end. The world building is really cool as well.

There were a few things that bothered me, but maybe I need to recognize that it's just fiction. The book doesn't seem to take into account the tolls that even a small injury can take on the human body. People are constantly beat up badly throughout the story, receiving injuries that would force them to take weeks off of training in real life. The type of injury that will come back and cause agonizing pain unless one completely heals from it. Not to mention the many injuries that a person literally would never recover from fully. This probably wouldn't bother most people, but there's a certain level of real-life accuracy that I've come to expect ever from fiction, unless it has been indicated that everyone has superhuman healing abilities.
