Some of the short stories were unnecessarily long. My favorites were the stories that included Yennefer and/or Ciri.

I get that the short stories/prequels are meant to give you some backstory on Geralt before he ultimately gives into destiny and "takes" Ciri into his position but some of them are just boring
I know Dandelion is meant for comedic relief but I find him annoying. After finishing this book I would only recommend the first two and last two of the short stories in the compilation.
I might come back a re-edit this because part of me feels that The Eternal Flame doppler situation might come into play later in the series...
