Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl

3.0

This book was recommended to me by someone who told me I was "too apathetic". While the title was promising (I am in a stage of my life where meaning is extremely important) the book was decent. There were lots of hardships that the author clearly faced but while that knowledge may be there I felt very little in response to it. I am very desensitized to the atrocities of the world. Anything shocking or extreme out there I have probably seen already so a textual representation of it did not arouse much feeling in me. I also didn't care for the author's exploration of his own branch of therapy. Good?
