What a fun book!
A really really slooooow burn fake dating story, featuring a plus-size FMC and a cinnamon roll billionaire MMC, both Latino.
I definitely believed Lina and Gabe together and oh my gosh I totally need a Gabe in my life. When he did *that* grand gesture, I for sure teared up!
It feels as if all the men from the friend group will get their own book and I am excited about that if it is indeed the case!
I enjoyed getting to know more about Latino/Latina culture. I did not understand all the references, but I feel like I learned quite a bit!
I did notice that the book felt really long and that I was not always that interested in finishing it.
It was also sometimes a bit confusing when the point of view changed halfway through the chapter, which meant that I read parts as if from Lina, when it was from Gabe. That definitely took me out of the story a lot, unfortunately.
